The Research Administration Unit, International College of Digital Innovation,
Chiang Mai University, has organized a training session to provide knowledge and create understanding on "Techniques to increase the likelihood for an article to be published in a high-quality journal (quartile 1)" by the speaker, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wasu Pathomari, Chiang Mai University's Faculty of Science lecturer, Editor of the Chiang Mai Journal of Science, Editor-in-Chief of the CMU Journal of Nature Science, and Editor of the Taylor and Francis All Life Journal. With the objectives of:
1. To instruct academic staff members on article writing and the publication of research findings in academic journals.
2. To enable academic staff members to publish academic works and apply their newly acquired writing and publishing skills in order to lead to proposals for academic positions.
3. To offer academic staff members and responsible units the opportunity to share resources and experience regarding article writing techniques and the dissemination of research findings in academic journals, which will be beneficial for academic staff members of the International College of Digital Innovation.

In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Manat Khamkong, Acting Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, presided over the opening of the training along with the academic staff members and associated operational staff that have joined the activity. In order to implement the techniques to increase the likelihood of publishing more academic works of higher quality, all participants have attended a lecture session on strategies and approaches that will enhance the chance of an article being published in journals.
The training was held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the ICB Conference Room 1102, International College of Digital Innovation.
