The President of Toyo University Visited Chiang Mai University and Gave a Special Lecture

Chiang Mai University welcomed the President of Toyo University (TU) on the occasion of a visit to greet the executives and discuss academic cooperation during January 28-29, 2019. On January 28, 2019, the President of TU also gave a special lecture on the topic "Buddhism in the Meiji Period" for the third year students who majors in Japanese at the Japanese Studies Center, Faculty of Humanities. , Chiang Mai University. This lecture received great interest from students and also enriched their knowledge in the history and evolution of Buddhism in Japan.

On Tuesday, January 29, 2019, Clinical Professor Niwet Nantajit, President of Chiang Mai University, along with the administrators of Chiang Mai University welcomed Professor Makio Takemura and Professor Kazuo Takahashi, President and Vice President of International Relations at Toyo University, Japan, respectively. The two universities exchanged ideas in various fields and Toyo University was interested in more cooperation with Chiang Mai University, especially in student and staff exchange. The President of Toyo University also invited the president and administrators of Chiang Mai University to visit their university this year.
