President of Chiang Mai University and Executives Team Visited Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Republic of India

The delegation of Chiang Mai University’s administrators led by Clinical Professor Niwes Nantachit, M.D., President, visited the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) on February 19, 2019 to discuss academic cooperation as well as the promotion and exchange of Thai and Indian arts and culture. The CMU’s executives team was welcomed by Mr. Syed Mahmood Akhter, Consultant-cum-Director and ICCR executives. The discussion issues between CMU and ICCR were focused on the collaboration on Indian Studies, Scholarships for students and Arts and Culture.

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) is a governmental organization responsible for promoting cultural relationship and exchanges with countries worldwide. Founded on April 9, 1950, ICCR's main mission is to define and drive policies related to Indian cultural relations with foreign countries and to promote cultural exchanges with countries and people around the world.
