‘EasyKids Robotics’ by the EasyKids Robotics Company, which is supported by CMU STeP’s Basecamp24, was awarded the ‘Incubatee Awards for Promising Entrepreneur’ at the Thai-BISPA Day 2023 themed ‘Low-carbon Economy’ held by the Thai Business Incubators and Science Parks Association (Thai-BISPA). This award is a testament to their breakthrough success, going hand in hand with CMU’s vision of becoming a leading university committed to social responsibility for sustainable development through innovation. It has also paved the way for future success on the regional stage.
The Thai-BISPA Awards is a platform to promote entrepreneurs under the supervision of business incubators and/or Science Parks with the potential to become well-known on the national scale and get nominated in international competitions. The three award categories are for Promising Entrepreneur, for Potential Internationalization, and for Potential Technology Transfer.
The project ‘Learning Centre for Programming and Robotic Innovation’ by EasyKids Robotics was awarded the Incubatee Awards for Promising Entrepreneur, which is given to entrepreneurs with outstanding all-around prospects. Designed to be ‘engaging, easy to understand, and experience-building with an emphasis on practicality, experimentality and problem-solving’, EasyKids Robotics enables children to get hands-on experience, experiment with, and solve problems, which will increase their self-confidence in the face of adversity. They will learn how to figure out the causes and try to address the problems through trial and error, which is a skill that will get them through problems in real life. It will also help build a solid intellectual and psychological foundation that will allow them to excel at university, work, or whatever their future pursuit may be.
