CMU Hosts ‘Risk Leader Bootcamp’

On June 8, 2026, Office of the University hosted a workshop titled, ‘Risk Leader Bootcamp’ to strengthen the capabilities of risk leaders and data owners and prepare them for proactive risk management at both the sectoral and university levels. Assistant Professor Piriya Cherdsatirakul, Vice President, presided over the opening ceremony at Ang Kaew Villa.
The workshop aimed to develop key competencies, including strategic risk analysis, critical questioning, professional consultation and advisory skills, as well as effective communication and coaching to support informed decision-making and efficient risk management. It sought to elevate the role of risk coordinators into risk leaders who can drive learning and serve as key mechanisms in fostering a strong risk management culture aligned with the university’s strategic direction and capable of adapting to future changes.
