The award was presented by Mr. Bookalakorn Jaidee, General Manager – Sales and Marketing, British Standard Institute on June 6, 2019

The ISO/IEC 27001 award recognizes the enhanced security management of CMU’s Data Center and creates confidence within the organization that the IT infrastructure and services will support the university’s mission for Digital Learning in the 21st Century.

In 2013 the Information Technology Service Center together with consultants from K.T.I.T. Solution began aligning the center’s infrastructure and procedures in accordance to international best practices. In 2019 the Information Technology Service Center was confident its operation was on par with the international standard and thus requested BSI for certification.
